DESCRIPTION:
Triangle is a Go image-processing tool that converts ordinary images into low-poly artwork using Delaunay triangulation. The pipeline first blurs the image, converts it to grayscale, and applies Sobel edge detection. Additional filtering selects representative points before the triangulation stage builds the final polygon structure. Users can adjust point density, blur, noise, edge sensitivity, wireframes, stroke width, grayscale output, and background color. The CLI accepts local files, image URLs, directories, stdin, and stdout and can process directory trees concurrently. Output formats include JPEG, PNG, BMP, and scalable SVG. A Go API exposes the same processing engine for applications that want to work directly with image data or streams.
Features
- Delaunay low-poly image generation
- Sobel edge-based point selection
- Configurable blur, noise, and point density
- Concurrent directory processing
- JPEG, PNG, BMP, and SVG output
- CLI, pipes, URLs, and Go API support
