DESCRIPTION:
log-update is a JavaScript utility for repeatedly updating terminal output in place instead of printing a new line for every change. It is particularly useful for progress bars, spinners, animations, dashboards, and other continuously changing command-line interfaces. The package performs partial redraws when possible to reduce visible flicker. Output can be written to either standard output or standard error. Developers can clear temporary content, finalize it, or permanently append selected messages to terminal scrollback. Custom log instances can target arbitrary streams and control cursor visibility. Fallback terminal width and height values can also be configured when stream dimensions are unavailable.
