Winget-AutoUpdate (WAU) is a tool that automates updating of applications installed via the Windows Package Manager (winget). It runs in system and user contexts (so it can update system-scope and user-scope apps), can notify users of updates, supports allowlists and blocklists of apps, allows scheduling of update runs, custom mod scripts (pre / post install etc.), has GUI settings and log management. It is intended for home users, administrators, and organisations.
