DESCRIPTION:
DiPlay is an independent Android application that brings Apple CarPlay to compatible BYD vehicle head units. It supports both wired USB and wireless CarPlay without requiring a jailbreak, external dongle, Mac, or authentication server. Wireless operation can use Wi-Fi Direct or the vehicle's existing hotspot. The app recreates the familiar DiAuto-style interface while handling CarPlay communication locally. Optional integrations can expose navigation guidance to supported BYD HUDs and access vehicle information such as battery or wheel speed. Core CarPlay does not require ADB, although some additional vehicle features do. The project currently targets BYD systems and does not officially support other vehicle brands.
