DESCRIPTION:
This program is open source, so it contains no viruses or malware. Occasionally, antivirus software or Microsoft Defender may flag and delete the installer, but this happens because I haven’t applied a paid code-signing certificate to the program and installer. It’s safe to use.
Features
- I am not a developer by trade. I was simply one of the Morinus users who felt inconveniences while using the program.
- I therefore improved parts that personally felt inconvenient and added features I needed. As I am an ordinary user with no programming background, most of the code was generated with the help of AI tools.
- Watching new features land in Morinus was rewarding; however, my ambition grew into a compulsion to make a “perfect” program. At some point the project began to eclipse its original purpose, and I felt that the time and energy I was investing had exceeded my limits.
- The AI I rely on has also started to show its limitations. There’s still a lot I would like to do and fix, but it increasingly seems beyond what I can reasonably resolve.
- Therefore, I believe my role ends here.
- This is an open-source program. If you have added a feature or fixed a bug(and your changes do not significantly alter previous behavior) please email me the files. You are also welcome to open a new repository of your own.
- If you send files, I may review them and, if appropriate, publish an update; if an update is released, I’ll include developer credits in the form you prefer.
