DESCRIPTION:
This tool allows you to fully use the inexpensive BH8DZE CW trainer USB stick on the VBand website.
Like me, did you buy a cheap BH8DZE USB stick on Aliexpress to connect your CW keyer and practice on the VBand website? Only to find out it doesn’t fully work — even with the 'Use mouse buttons' option enabled? Specifically, the 'dah' (right) key doesn’t function in iambic mode.
That’s why I built this tool — to fix it for you!
First, let me explain why the BH8DZE doesn’t work properly.
This stick emulates the left and right mouse buttons when you press 'dit' and 'dah' on your CW keyer.
So when you press 'dah', instead of producing the sound you need (with the option mentioned above enabled), the browser just pops up a context menu.
My program works in a very straightforward way. It intercepts mouse clicks when it detects that the VBand site is open, and replaces them with keyboard presses: 'LEFT CTRL' and 'RIGHT CTRL'.
And everything OK!
!! Disable 'Use mouse buttons' !!
