Greetings!
I started this soundfont, formerly named "DAWNS", in late 2019 as a cherry-picked mashup of my favorite soundfont presets. Over time, I noticed what many mainstream soundfonts were missing and worked to connect the dots, adding new instruments and sounds to give it a distinct and playful essence.
ColomboGMGS2 supports GM2/GS and Yamaha XG drum mappings within a single SF2 file, covering all key melodic presets, SFX, extra presets that are either local or expreimental, and more.
From now on, it will be available in two flavors: BASSMIDI and Vanilla, ensuring better consistency across different MIDI players. Head to the "Files" section to pick what your software prefers.
Apart from a few self-recorded instruments, most samples come from renowned creators including Maxime Abbey, David Shan, Cose Vidal, OpenWrld, Milton Paredes, and Rick Simon.
