DESCRIPTION
Emoj is a command-line utility for finding emojis that are relevant to words or phrases entered by the user. It relies on a local emoji database, so searches do not need an external search service. A standard command returns a configurable number of matching emojis directly in the terminal. Running the utility without arguments opens an interactive live-search interface instead. Users can navigate results with the keyboard, select emojis, and copy them directly to the clipboard. The tool also supports persistent default skin-tone selection and lets users modify skin tone while searching. It works best on macOS and Linux systems with terminals capable of displaying color emoji.
