This is the Linux app named Master of Magic - IME whose latest release can be downloaded as momime1.6.8-with-jre.zip. It can be run online in the free hosting provider OnWorks for workstations.
Download en voer deze app genaamd Master of Magic - IME gratis uit met OnWorks.
Volg deze instructies om deze app uit te voeren:
- 1. Download deze applicatie op uw pc.
- 2. Voer in onze bestandsbeheerder https://www.onworks.net/myfiles.php?username=XXXXX in met de gebruikersnaam die u wilt.
- 3. Upload deze applicatie in zo'n bestandsbeheerder.
- 4. Start de OnWorks Linux online of Windows online emulator of MACOS online emulator vanaf deze website.

This is an attempt at a multiplayer client/server java rewrite of Microprose/Simtex's classic DOS turn based strategy game Master of Magic. Latest versions now require Java 17, however since a lot of folks have been having trouble setting this up, I am now providing 2 versions, one with a JRE included in the download, and one without. Beyond this, it should just be as simple as unzipping the file and running server.bat to get the server running locally, and client.bat to start up the client. See the readme for more details.
The project is effectively finished at this point with no major new features planned. I will still do bug fixes and vulnerability fixes as necessary. 1.6.8 contains several bug fixes.
