This is the Linux app named ION-DTN whose latest release can be downloaded as ion-open-source-4.1.0.tar.gz. It can be run online in the free hosting provider OnWorks for workstations.

Follow these instructions in order to run this app:
- 1. Downloaded this application in your PC.
- 2. Enter in our file manager https://www.onworks.net/myfiles.php?username=XXXXX with the username that you want.
- 3. Upload this application in such filemanager.
- 4. Start the OnWorks Linux online or Windows online emulator or MACOS online emulator from this website.
- 5. From the OnWorks Linux OS you have just started, goto our file manager https://www.onworks.net/myfiles.php?username=XXXXX with the username that you want.
- 6. Download the application, install it and run it.
The Interplanetary Overlay Network (ION) software distribution is an implementation of Delay-Tolerant Networking (DTN) architecture, as described in Internet RFC 4838, that is intended to be usable in embedded environments including spacecraft flight computers.
ION versions 4.1.0 (which builds BPv7 by default) and 3.7.4 (which builds BPv6 by default) are both posted here; see notes in README.
1. Our development environments for RTEMS, FreeBSD, Android, and uClibc have experienced various types of bit rot. If you run into problems running ION on any of these platforms, please post to the mailing list.
2. 64-bit Windows installers for ION 3.7.4 and 4.1.0 will be available soon.
3. Some compilers will complain when asked to build the zfec module. Please see the README notes for details.
