DESCRIPTION
YAAW is a lightweight browser interface for controlling the aria2 download utility through JSON-RPC. It is written entirely in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and does not require its own web server or backend. Users open the interface in a browser and connect it to an aria2 instance with RPC enabled. The dashboard can manage active, waiting, stopped, and completed download tasks from a graphical interface. It supports HTTP and WebSocket RPC connections, along with token or username-based authentication. Connection settings can be placed in the URL fragment or saved as a bookmark for quick reuse. Because task persistence belongs to aria2, users must configure session files and an aria2 configuration file to restore downloads after restarts.
