Lacewing
DESCRIPTION
Remaking a vintage game Lacewing, originally coded by Linley Henzell.
We're doing a modern remake of Lacewing. Please feel free to join the project if the concept inspires you. Currently, a Godot-based prototype is available (compiled for Windows; Godot source cross-platform) - do give it a try! Bug reports and suggestions welcome!
*Predatory creatures update*
Introduced rare non-essential enemy species that hunt crawlies and make your life easier on deeper levels of the grid. But things are not so simple...
[More info in the presentation that can be downloaded from the Files section].
Features
- nostalgic retro look
- lots of different enemies
- several ships to choose from, each customisable with a number of upgrades
- varied gameplay with enemies chosen randomly each time
