7.8. Lab Exercise
Exercise 1: Creating a Web Album by using F-Spot. You have just returned from a vacation with your friends. You decide to write about this experience on your blog and post some photographs of the trip. However, uploading images one by one to the Web site involves a lot of effort and time. You want to find a more convenient way to do this.
Procedure 7.8. To perform the required task:
1. Launch F-Spot Photo Manager. The default window is displayed.
2. Click Import on the navigation bar. Navigate to the folder containing the photos Open. The workspace displays all the images available in the folder.
3. Select the images you want to include in the Web album.
4. Click Copy to import the selected photos. F-Spot displays the photos in the preview window.
5. In the preview window,select the photos you want include or use Select All from the Edit menu.
6. In the Photo menu, select the Export to and then Web Gallery.
7. You will need to enter the name of the Gallery, as well as the URL and log-in information for the site. F- Spot will then upload the selected items to the website.
