4.1.6. OpenOffice.org Math‌

You can use Math for creating and editing mathematical equations by using a graphic user interface or by directly typing the formula into the equation editor. The formula created in this manner can then be inserted into other OpenOffice.org programmes, such as Writer, Calc and Impress.

Using a new OS and especially a new office application suite is not as daunting to pick up as you

may think. With OpenOffice, most of the operations are very intuitive. Think of a new suite as moving to a new house; all your old cutlery, plates and dishes are in your kitchen cupboards, you just need to get used to the new kitchen arrangement!
