7.5. Using a Scanner
Scanning an object in Ubuntu is simple. If you have a USB scanner, plug the scanner directly into your computer. Most plug-and-play devices are compatible with Ubuntu, if however, the computer fails to detect the scanner, you will need to check its compatibility with Ubuntu.
